This was a retreat project with JH. We had bought this beautiful bird fabric, Holiday Collection, by Laurel Burch, many years ago at a lovely quilt shop that no longer exists. It sat and sat and sat because we had no idea what to do with these birds. When the 3-Yard-Quilt craze came along, we thought this pattern would be perfect to showcase them.
